About Me:
Hi! I'm Darrel-Lynne Thieson, though most people call me Dee. Like many of us, my path hasn't been a straight line – but that's where the magic happens, right? I transformed my experiences with challenging diagnosis's into a journey of profound healing and awakening, refusing to accept conventional limitations placed on those with psychiatric diagnoses. After working in the corporate world, the mental health coaching space and experiencing systemic issues in westernized mental healthcare, I now run my own business helping online business owners streamline their business, while speaking about my experiences to challenge stigma and offer hope to others.
Living in Edmonton, AB, Canada with my husband Joel and our cat Karl, I demonstrate through my story that what society often dismisses as "crazy" can hold our greatest gifts, as I continue exploring healing through writing, connection, and self-expansion—with love as my guiding force.

In my chapter, I invite you to join me on a raw and transformative journey through my personal apocalypse. At the height of my professional success, I faced a mental health crisis that led to a diagnosis of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. What followed was a profound exploration of societal expectations, mental health stigma, and my path to personal freedom. My story is a testament to resilience and the power of embracing one's unique journey to sovereignty.
